You've built something incredible. Now it's time to show the world.
For more than 20 years, I've helped businesses just like yours turn their hard work into award-winning stories that judges love.
I'll handle the strategy and writing so you can focus on what you do best.
Let’s be honest, submitting an award entry can be a drain on business resources. You're already juggling a thousand things, and now you have to find the right awards to enter, pull together all the information, then write a really compelling entry. It's an exhausting process that takes valuable staff away from their real jobs.
And what about the costs? You're paying for entry fees and potentially thousands for a table at a ceremony, all with no guarantee you'll win. It's a risk and frustrating to invest so much and get to the end of the process and only have a generic "thank you for your submission" email to show for it.
You deserve to get recognized for the incredible work you do. Let me help you do it right.
"We’d entered awards for years with mixed results. When we started working with Emma, her guidance and expertise helped us sharpen our entries and achieve the recognition we’d been aiming for."
Matthew Drury, Director, Saturn Visual Solutions
Every business is unique, and so is your awards journey. Whether you need me to handle the entire process from start to finish, or you simply need an expert eye to review your hard work, I offer two distinct services designed to meet you where you are.
We’ll start with a discovery session to learn about your business and which awards are most important to you. I’ll then speak to the relevant people in your team to learn about the relevant project/s and find out what information is already available to supplement your submission. I'll talk to your clients directly to get a full picture of how they feel about your business and what you’ve done for them. I’ll write the submission and send it to you for your approval. Once you're happy, I’ll ask the clients mentioned in the award entry for approval of any information that mentions them. I can then submit the entry for you online.
I’ll take a critical eye to what you’ve written and give you feedback on how to improve your entry. Alternatively, I can just make the changes for you (using track changes) and send it to you.
You're a master of your business, but award submission writing is a specific, often unforgiving, art form. It's the difference between telling a story and simply listing facts. Here's why bringing in a professional is a game-changer:
You're too close to the project: When you're in the weeds of your business every day, it's hard to see the forest for the trees. A professional writer like myself offers an objective, strategic perspective, identifying the unique angles and powerful narratives you might be overlooking.
It's a specialised skill: An award submission isn't a press release or a blog post. It requires understanding judging criteria, knowing how to structure a narrative, and translating complex data into a compelling, evidence-backed case. I speak the language of the judges.
It's a wise investment: With entry fees, time investment and reputation at stake, you can't afford to take chances. A professionally-written entry significantly increases your odds of being shortlisted and winning, turning a potential expense into a powerful marketing asset. I don't just write; I maximise your ROI.
I free up your team: Award submissions are a massive drain on internal resources. By entrusting the process to me, you free up your team to focus on what they do best: running and growing your business.
So, why choose me? Well, I've worked with a huge range of B2B businesses, entered a wide range of awards and I've learned exactly what it takes to win. As a result, my success rates tend to be around 95% for shortlisting, and 60% for wins.
I think like a judge: I don't just write entries; I build them with a judging panel in mind. I know what grabs their attention, what evidence they demand, and what clichés to avoid. The submissions I write are designed to make their job easy and your business unforgettable.
Your story, professionally told: You're too close to your own business to see the full, winning narrative. I step in as an objective partner, finding the powerful, data-driven story that others miss. I translate complex business achievements into a clear, compelling narrative that resonates.
I like to win!!: As soon as I'm involved in an award entry, I'm invested in your success. From our first conversation to the final submission, I'll work collaboratively with your team to unearth the gold, refine the message, and build a winning case.
Sure, a shiny trophy is great for the mantelpiece, but the real value of winning an award goes far beyond that. Award-winning recognition can transform your business, offering a powerful return on your investment. Here’s what a win can do for you:
Boost your credibility: An award is the ultimate third-party endorsement. It validates your expertise and builds instant trust with potential clients, giving you a powerful edge over your competition.
Attract new business: An award win is a fantastic tool for your sales team. It's a key point of differentiation in a crowded market and a perfect reason to start a conversation with prospects. It's proof that you deliver exceptional results - and can charge clients accordingly.
Improve employee morale: Your team works incredibly hard, so celebrate them! Award recognition boosts morale, reduces turnover, and helps you attract top talent.
Boost recruitment: Getting third party recognition is a powerful recruitment tool. It differentiates your business and helps you attract top talent who want to work for a successful company.
Increase your visibility & maximise your win: The win itself is just the beginning. To get the most from your success, you need to shout about it! I also offer a PR service to help you make the most of your shortlisting or win. I can craft and distribute press releases, create social media campaigns, and handle media outreach to ensure your achievement gets the attention it deserves.
My pricing is bespoke because every business and every award is different. Some submissions can be done quickly, others require more detail which takes longer. The cost is an investment in your brand’s future, and we’ll provide a clear, detailed quote after our initial, no-obligation consultation. My submission reviews start at £250, and short submissions start at £600.
I specialise in B2B awards across a wide range of sectors, including technology, professional services, HR, and more. If your industry has an awards programme, I can probably help.
No ethical agency or award entry writer can guarantee a win. However, my 20+ years of experience allows me to maximize your chances by crafting the most strategic, evidence-based, and compelling submission possible. In fact, if I don't believe you have a strong, viable story for a win, I won't take on the project. I pride myself on working only with clients that I believe have a genuine chance of success.
It’s important to understand that my fee covers expert writing and consultancy services. It does not include the separate costs charged by the award organisers. Many prestigious awards charge a non-refundable entry fee (which can range from £100 to over £500 per category). You should also factor in the costs of tickets or a table at the awards ceremony.
Depending on the award entry requirements, the process typically takes a few weeks. This is to allow enough time for research, writing, client liaison, and your final approvals. I always recommend getting started well in advance of the deadline—at least a couple of months—to ensure we have enough time to craft a truly exceptional entry without rushing.
This is a very common question, and the answer isn't always straightforward. Officially, all awards are judged on merit alone, regardless of attendance. However, having attended countless awards ceremonies, I can tell you from experience that the vast majority of winners are companies represented at the dinner. While it's a significant investment, I recommend budgeting for a table or at least some places at a shared table if your goal is to maximise your chances of a win.
I always recommend getting in touch as early as possible to allow for a thorough process, but I do appreciate that sometimes deadlines can sneak up on you. Depending on my current workload, I can sometimes squeeze in a fast-turnaround service for last-minute submissions. If you're facing an urgent deadline, get in touch and if I can help, I will.
